Central Regional Minister pledges to complete all uncompleted projects before starting new ones


 The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, has promised to complete all uncompleted projects started by the erstwhile NDC administration, as well as uncompleted projects left by the immediate past NPP government before initiating new ones in the region.

Addressing the Press, the Minister, committed to completing all abandoned state projects before initiating new ones to help reduce the frequency of causing financial losses to the state.

According to him, there are numerous abandoned projects in the region that are left to rot in the bush some of which were initiated by the erstwhile NDC government over the last 10 years.

He added, that the immediate past NPP government has also added to the uncompleted project deficit, hence must be completed before initiating new ones.

“For instance, if Common Fund or GETFUND has a project here, we’ll not initiate new one but we’ll try to continue the existing one as early as possible so that we’ll manage the few resources we have very well,” Hon. Eduamoah assured.

Meanwhile, authorities of the Agona Swedru School of Business (SWESBU) in an interview with Pan African TV News, urged the government to expedite completion of education-related projects to enhance teaching and learning.

In addition, an appealed was also made to the Old Students Association of the school to help solve the infrastructural problems in the school.
