E/R: Residents of Akyem Bontodiase Call for Development Following the Enstoolment of New Chief
Residents of Akyem Bontodiase in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region have called on government todevelopment the area following the enstoolment of a new chief who they said will facilitate the progress and completion of the projects in the community.
Speaking to the media during the enstoolment of the new chief, some residents lamented the lack of social amenities and other developmental infrastructure in the community.
They disclosed that the Akyem Bontodiase community has no healthcare facility to attend to residents when they are sick.The community also lack motorable roads which increases travel time and make travel experience unbearable.
They have therefore called on government to as a matter of urgency attend to their pressing needs since they now have a new chief in the community to spearhead developmentalinitiatives.
The newly enstooled chief of Akyem Bontodiase community, Nana Obeng Akari Asiedu II has pledged to foster peace, unity and development in the community, and has called on government to attend to their needs.
