Known by his stage 'Tee Tonie', Anthony Kwasi Essien is a Ghanaian singer/songwriter and a hip-hop recording artiste. He was born in Takoradi, a city in the Western Region of Ghana. He is a family man and is currently juggling between music and doing business in Europe.

Tee Tonie developed a passion for Hip-hop music at a young age during his Senior High School days in Ackosa Senior High School where he had the chance to perfect his craft by performing during Entertainment and other school events.

The genre he started with was Hip-Hop, but he later realized that he could be versatile with his singing due to the switch in genres of a particular song.

After High School, the opportunity came for Tee Tonie to travel to Europe where he specifically went to Belgium to seek greener pasture and further his music career. While away in Europe, he found himself in music groups where he was able to make some singles/ tracks whereas he did some songs on his own.

Tee Tony was also in some groups here in Ghana where he did some songs with them as well each time he visited.  With this, he has five Albums with lots of songs on them to his name.

In the year 2023, Tee Tonie decided to rebrand himself and start all over again in his music career which fell low along the way due to some decisions he and his then-manager made which turned out not to be in his personal growth and interest.

Following the rebranding, Tee Tonie features Boggy Wenzday on his debut single to present a melodious hustlers' anthem titled "Last Last." In this afrobeat track, Tee Tonie seeks to motivate and inspire the youth and his audience to put in the effort needed and eventually savor the fruits of their labor. "Last Last" emphasizes the importance of hard work in securing the enjoyment one deserves. This timeless tune was expertly produced by the renowned beatmaker, His Excellency Presdoes Beatz.

With his stupefying talent and stage persona, Tee Tonie has had the opportunity to share the distinguished stage in Europe with the likes of Tic Tak, Obrafuo, and others as a supporting artist.

Tee Tonie has the hope of collaborating with the likes of Lasmid, King Paluta, Mr. Drew and Sista Efia but one that he cannot wait for and is hopeful that it may sooner or later be King Paluta.

Tee Tonie is tipped to earn a reputation for churning out great melodies, making his fans and listeners yearn for more from him, and all with help from his new Road Manager Taste.
